Isabel was in an accident eight years ago and fractured the incisal and facial edge of tooth #11. It was repaired by another dentist with a composite restoration. She came to me after it fractured again over the weekend and she had gone to an emergency clinic. She was not pleased with the restoration that was placed. Her chief complaint was that it was not only longer but discolored. Isabel is a 22 year old opera singer. Her concern in restoring tooth #11 was not only esthetics but also phonetics. She wanted a more permanent fix and requested that I place a crown on tooth #11.
